Pink Moon Ayurverdic Lattes to add some calm to your life this week!! ?? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ashwagandha has been used in ayurveda for thousands of years. Known for its adaptogenic properties some of which include : lowers blood sugar levels, reduce cortisol, boost brain function and help fight symptoms of anxiety and depression. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On weeks that are especially stressful, I ll add some to my tea or golden milk and have noticed it definitely calms me down and feel much better. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Recipe below! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredients 1 c coconut milk (or any milk that you prefer) 1 c water 1 tsp ashwagandha 1/2 tbsp maple syrup 1 tsp rose syrup 2 tsp pitaya or beet powder 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 1/2 tsp MCT oil A pinch of salt ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Directions Add water, coconut milk, maple syrup and rose syrup to a pot and bring to a simmer. Transfer to a blender and add cardamon, ashawgandha, mct oil and pitaya powder, blend on high for 1 min.
