Hot Honey Peach Mezcal Margarita

Sip into summer with a Hot Honey Peach Mezcal Margarita: smoky mezcal, juicy peaches, and spicy honey for the perfect cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz mezcal
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 2 oz peach puree (fresh or frozen, blended)
  • 1 /2 oz hot honey (or honey infused with a pinch of cayenne)
  • Lime wheel or peach slice for garnish
  • Tajin, for rim

Instructions

  • Place kosher salt or Tajín on a small plate. Rub half the outer rim of a rocks glass with a lime wedge (reserve for serving), then roll moistened rim in salt/Tajín. Or use a brush to brush hot honey on the side of the glass and roll in salt/Tajín.
  • Fill glass with ice and set aside.
  • Make peach puree by blending 1 peach in a blender until smooth.
  • In a shaker, combine peach puree and hot honey to mix. Add mezcal , triple sec and lime juice.
  • Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until cold.
  • Strain mixture into prepared glass.
  • Garnish with reserved lime wheel, peach slice, or small chili.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet, smoky, spicy perfection.
