Coconut Lime Margarita with Mint

Margarita with a twist of coconut puree, lime and tequila with fresh mint garnish makes for a refreshing and delicious tropical inspired drink.

  • 1 lime zested
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 1/2 ounces coconut puree or cream
  • 3/4 ounce triple sec
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • Mint sprigs for garnish
  • Lime wedges for garnish


  • On a plate mix lime zest and salt together until well incorporated.
  • Rub lime wedge around rim of cocktial glass. Spread lime salt on a plate and rub rim in seasoning. 
  • In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, add tequila, coconut puree, lime juice and triple sec
  • Close the shaker and shake vigorously until well chilled, 2 minutes. Double strain the cocktail into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with mint sprigs, lime wedges and serve immediately.
